Winter Paleo Challenge Begins 1/30!
It's been a little while since we had a nutrition challenge. Time to jump back on that wagon! If you're new to the gym, this is a great opportunity to get started with a healthier diet with a bunch of other people to support your efforts. If you've been around for a while, you probably know the drill. Read on though, because we're doing a couple things a little bit differently this time!
New Free Intro Class: Wednesday Nights!
We've been running a free intro class on Saturdays for a little while now... so it's time to up the ante! Beginning January 12th, we'll be offering a weekday free intro class every Wednesday night at 8pm.
Get Strict!
There are a lot of people that struggle with getting their first pull-up. There are also a lot of people that have managed to get a kipping pull-up but still cannot manage a good strict pull-up. Kipping pull-ups are great but it is of utmost importance that strength be acquired in the connective tissues of the shoulder before we go swinging on the bars like monkeys. Although I have given a lot of general tips on how to get pull-ups, I figured I should come up with a more concrete plan. This is a little upper body strength program designed to get you from zero pull-ups to one pull-up in a short amount of time.
Tuesday Lunchtime Schedule Change!
Please note that lunchtime class on Tuesday, February 15th will be rescheduled to 1:30pm due to a morning film shoot. On Ramp classes will not be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience!
