Earn Your Turkey!
Get a jump start on your New Year’s resolutions by joining our “Earn Your Turkey” challenge: commit to eating Paleo (garden vegetables, especially greens, lean meats, nuts and seeds, little starch, and no sugar) for the months of November and December. Read on for the details.
When: November and December. Two cheat days over Thanksgiving, two over Christmas. New Year’s Eve ends the challenge.
Eat: Paleo (limited amounts of dairy allowed.) No refined carbs, no wheat, no rice, limited potatoes. Booze limited to 3 drinks one day per week.
Work out: Minimum 3x per week.
Log: Set up a tumblr account, and log everything you eat with photos. Also log all workouts with results.
You can join at any time during the challenge! If you want someone looking over your shoulder, follow Sam’s Tumblr and she will follow yours and keep an eye on how you’re doing. Generally the more people watching, the better the results, so go ahead and follow some other people who are already logging — they’ll probably follow you back!
